INCREASE YOUR RESILIENCE!
Arm yourself for changes and turn stress into opportunities and solutions.
The world around us is changing ever faster. Also in professional environments you constantly need skills to adapt to new situations. So you need to be resilient. But what exactly is resilience? Resilience is the ability and speed with which we bounce back after change, stress or setbacks. It is what enables you to turn change and the challenges it brings into opportunities. But your resilience also ensures that you are ready for change and do not see new situations as a threat.
“When you know what your triggers are and recognise your warning and alarm signals, you can resiliently anticipate and respond to new situations and stress.”
In the interactive training Increase your resilience! we put your stress experiences and reactions and your resilience at the centre. This way you can immediately transfer scientific knowledge and new skills to your own professional context.
After this training you know what stress is and how your brain reacts to it. You recognise when positive stress turns into negative stress and what impact that has on your body, thoughts and behaviour. You can name your triggers and avoid them, and learn various skills to preventively increase your resilience and to react resiliently during moments of stress.
You learn in a group and with a simulation actor. You work on a personal action plan and receive a useful visual and/or e-book from us which you can also use after the training.
- The brain under pressure To increase resilience, you need to know exactly what stress is and what it does to your brain. That is where we start.
- Effect of stress You know what stress is? Then we look at its impact on your body, thoughts and behaviour. Learn to recognise your warning and alarm signals and make sure positive stress does not turn into negative stress.
- The biology of your behaviour Look at yourself and your internal and external triggers and find out where your stress reaction comes from. Tackle the triggers that affect you.
- Brain hygiene Working on your brain hygiene is proactively increasing your resilience. Make time for connecting time, exercise time, focus time, sleep time and time-in.
- What if you miss the turn If you still have a stress reaction, we teach you the right techniques to turn it around resiliently.
