ONLINE INSPIRATIONAL SESSION
GIVING AND RECEIVING
FEEDBACK
Why feedback is so difficult and how it can be done easily
Feedback is a ‘gift’, you sometimes hear it said. And yet many of us find it difficult to accept this gift. For some people feedback is very offensive, for others it is intimidating. Sometimes feedback just comes at the wrong time, sometimes much too late.
Feedback can be formal, during an evaluation, or informal at the coffee machine. But with increasing digitalisation, more teleworking and hybrid working from different workplaces, we see each other less and less physically. That makes giving feedback an even greater challenge.
“Asking for, giving or receiving feedback differs from person to person. Everyone handles it differently. The better you know the other person, the more constructive the feedback, the greater the effect.”
In this online inspiration session you will not only learn practical tips & tricks about giving and receiving feedback. We will first look at the anatomical side: what exactly feedback does to your brain and why we have such a hard time with it. We will work with concrete cases of our own so that every participant can learn from them personally.
